HEA Gives Cavendish 6 Months to Remedy Irregularities in School of Law

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) has given Cavendish University until 31st March, 2024, to address irregularities in their provision of law learning programmes at the Higher Education Institution (HEI).

Following an inspection conducted on the HEI which was prompted by complaints from members of the public regarding the use of unqualified lecturers and tutors in the School of Law, HEA has directed Cavendish University to recruit more suitably qualified and experienced academic staff in the School of Law by 31st March, 2024.

HEA will continue listening and responding to every complaint that it receives, and actioning all complaint that warrant actioning by our Inspectorate Team.
