In the image shown, Dr. Kaunda blesses Professor Stephen Simukanga, HEA Director General, just as he has blessed the Republic of Zambia through the tireless efforts in higher education from the establishment of Zambia’s first university in 1966, the University of Zambia (UNZA), to the countless number of citizens who got free primary and secondary school education, including Professor Simukanga.
