IN PICTURES: HEA Charts the Course for 2025 in Strategic Planning Meetings
Earlier this year, the Higher Education Authority (HEA) held strategic planning meetings that carved its priorities and objectives for 2025 in order to ensure the Authority’s enhanced ability to effectively execute its mandate of ensuring quality higher education in Zambia.
The meetings took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, 21st and 22nd January, 2025, at Chamba Valley Exotic Hotel. During the meetings, Management and Staff of HEA came together to review past achievements, address challenges, and align strategies with national higher education policies.
During the discussions, HEA leadership emphasised the importance of strengthening institutional audits, accreditation processes, and stakeholder engagement to foster a more robust and globally competitive higher education sector. The planning sessions also provided a platform to assess emerging trends and innovations in higher education governance.
HEA remains committed to advancing quality assurance and regulatory excellence to support Zambia’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in delivering world-class education and research.
