ANNOUNCEMENT: HEA Director-General to Hold Virtual Meeting with Principals of HEIs
The Director-General of the Higher Education Authority (HEA), Professor Kazhila C. Chinsembu, has invited the Principal Officers of all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to attend a virtual meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 18th March 2026, at 09:00hrs.
During the meeting, Professor Chinsembu will deliver his address for the year, outlining key priorities and expectations for the higher education subsector. The meeting is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, including a brief session for questions and answers.
The Higher Education Act, 2013, describes the principal officer as the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Bursar, Librarian or Dean of Students.
