With just days to go before the epic start, the Higher Education Authority (HEA) has officially released the final programme for this landmark event.

The programme features a vibrant blend of high-level plenaries, panel discussions, exhibitions, and a cultural night, all designed to inspire collaboration and strategic investment in Zambia’s higher education sector.

The Indaba will culminate in a vibrant Cultural Night on Friday, 10th October 2025, at 18:00hrs, graced by the Guest of Honour, the Honourable Minister of Southern Province, Mr. Credo Nanjuwa, MP. Delegates are encouraged to dress in their traditional attire to celebrate Zambia’s rich cultural diversity and showcase pride in our shared heritage.

The inaugural Higher Education Indaba will be held from 8th to 10th October, 2025, at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone, under the theme “Unlocking Zambia’s Potential Through New Investments in Quality Higher Education.”

Hosted by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Indaba will convene over 400 leaders from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), industry, cooperating partners, civil society, and other strategic stakeholders.
