Mwiko as Manager – Human Resource and Administration, filling a key leadership position within the institution.

Ms. Mwiko joins the Authority following a rigorous and publicly advertised recruitment process. She brings a strong portfolio of experience in human resource management, organisational development and administrative leadership, expertise that will be essential in enhancing HEA’s internal systems and supporting its growing workforce.

As Manager – Human Resource and Administration and reporting to the Director-General, Ms. Mwiko will oversee human resource acquisition, employee development, performance management, benefits administration, and general administration, all aimed at strengthening efficiency and productivity across the Authority.

Ms. Mwiko is an accomplished Human Resource Management professional with over 15 years of senior-level experience, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the Copperbelt University (CBU), and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development – UK (Assoc. CIPD) and is a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (FZIHRM), as well as Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD).

The Authority warmly welcomes Ms. Mwiko to her new role. Her appointment reflects HEA’s confidence in her capabilities and her potential to contribute meaningfully to building a motivated, high-performing workforce that supports the Authority’s mission of “Ensuring Quality in Higher Education.”
