ESAMI is a Pan African Regional Management Development Centre owned by 10-member governments from the Eastern and Southern African region, which include Eswatini, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The historic Recognition Certificate was formally presented to ESAMI on Monday, 24th November, 2025, by HEA Director-General, Professor Kazhila C. Chinsembu, when he led the Authority’s delegation to the institute in Arusha, Tanzania.

Professor Chinsembu commended the Institute on the quality, relevance, and excellence of learning programmes it provides across the continent.

Receiving the HEA delegation and the Recognition Certificate at ESAMI Headquarters was the Institute’s Director General, Dr. Peter Kiuluku, who expressed deep appreciation to the Authority and the Republic of Zambia for the recognition.

“(The) ESAMI MBA is now closer to Zambian professionals than ever before,” Dr. Kiuluku said, adding, “(I assure you) Professor Chinsembu of ESAMI’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge knowledge, global in perspective, but firmly rooted in African realities.”
