In this regard, HEA has suspended the following activities for all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) until further notice:

  1. Site visits for the registration of new HEIs and new campuses,
  2. Institutional audits,
  3. Inspections, and
  4. Learning Programme accreditation activities.

Furthermore, during this period, all physical contact with the Authority through its offices are suspended and, as such, all queries should ONLY be done via the email: info@hea.org.zm.

HEA stands with the Government of the Republic of Zambia and its continued and sustained efforts through various Ministries and Government Agencies, in combating COVID-19 by urging everyone to strictly adhere to health guidelines of frequently washing hands, sanitising, cleaning our environment, not shaking hands, and observing social distance from each other. These measures are essential to our continued survival.
