HEA introduced window periods for application of accreditation of learning programmes in order to ensure that all learning programmes submitted within the submission window were processed according to priority in order to eliminate delays and anxiety related to the accreditation process.

However, the window period for the submission of learning programmes for universities and university colleges remains open until 31st August, 2024. Therefore, all universities and university colleges are directed to submit all their unaccredited learning programmes.

HEA will not accept any submissions for application for accreditation once the submission window has closed until such a time when a new window shall be announced.
