The Ministry of Higher Education and the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey have signed a four-year memorandum of understanding aimed at organising academic and scientific exchange between the two countries.
Minister of Higher Education Professor Nkandu Luo says Government has put emphasis on Tertiary education because it is key to national development.
Professor Luo says Government will collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that more Doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs have adequate skills.
And Turkish Ambassador to Zambia Sebnem Incesu says her government is pleased that the MoU will help to provide skills exchange between the two countries.
Mrs Incesu has also disclosed that her government is engaging the Zambian Government in the field of culture and tourism.
